Some gratitude

This blog is going to be about my journey (and, let's hope, adventures!) but it really doesn't start when I arrive in Thailand. This is going to be really cheesy so if you're not in the mood...I dunno...skip it or skim it to find your name or something :p

This has been, without a doubt, the *&£$est year in my experience...ooo we really haven't liked 2010 believe me. I'm not going to go into details but let's all assume that we know it's been absolutely horrendously pants.

It's also been mindbogglingly awesome. My first thank you is to Perran for being an absolutely insanely wonderful support and this has to extend to Tracey, Alice, Katie Hall, Catherine, Penny and Charlotte soontobeMcarthur too. And of course the SWers: Jo, Lucy, Ellie, NSB, Shuhona, Lucy, Ruth and Gary(!). You all got me through the worst and onto the plane to Italy which is where it all started turning for the better.

From there Mary - you got me out of Mamma Teresa's and into Sorrento, Nat - you completely opened my eyes, Laura - what can I say? We bumped soul clusters baby! You guys made me feel alive again, well, you and a bucketload of limoncello!

And since then? Everyone who's reading this has probably helped in keeping me sane. All The Gang, Alison, Brenda and Bill, Trevor and Alison, Mike and Vin and everyone else who've been supporting our family so that we could look after ourselves. Thank you.
Everyone who's leant an ear - Sacha, little Fishers, Jess, Steph Sw., cousins, aunts, uncles, colleagues, Woodcrafters (Tessa, Pippa, Steve, Kirsty, Mel, Fiona, David, all of youse). All the friends who've even just called to "see how you're doing". Thank you.

And everyone who's jumped up and down bursting to tell me how exciting my plans are - THANK YOU.

I honest to god almost gave up on everything this year (and almost had no other choice) but look where I am (going) now! :D
